Christina Sheetz is a seasoned professional in international law and human rights with extensive experience across multiple organizations, currently serving as Senior Policy Advisor at Independent Diplomat since April 2025. Prior roles include Human Rights Advisor at USAID, where Christina managed a $20 million portfolio and led global cross-sectoral teams, and International Legal Advisor at The World Bank Group, where evaluations of legal frameworks in fragile states were conducted. Christina has also held leadership positions at the Public International Law & Policy Group, overseeing complex governance programs, and has worked as a legal consultant and advisor in various capacities, providing technical guidance and policy recommendations in economic development and legal reforms. Christina holds a JD in Public International Law from American University Washington College of Law and a BA in International Relations and Middle East Studies from William & Mary.
