DA is an independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. IDA works to ensure the right to the highest attainable standard of health and medical impartiality for all. IDA advocates for the protection of civilians, hospitals, and healthcare workers, unhindered humanitarian access, the neutrality of aid provision, and the meaningful representation of civil society/NGOs in decision-making processes.  Established in 2012 by Syrian doctors, IDA has emerged as a pivotal healthcare provider within Syria. Mission  Our mission is to save lives, alleviate suffering among conflict and disaster-affected populations, and advocate for the protection of human life. We achieve this by providing comprehensive health, nutrition, and protection services, upholding patient dignity, and empowering Syria's health workforce. Vision  Ensure the fundamental right to lead a healthy, autonomous, and dignified life for all. Objective Our objective is to build and strengthen local healthcare systems, foster a standard level of health and social well-being and contribute to the development of Syria by working towards a healthier future generation.
