Peter van Zwol

Peter Van Zwol is the Managing Director and founder of Independent Energy BV, where Peter oversees the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of off-grid, solar backup, and solar-diesel hybrid power solutions for Africa. Peter is also a Board Member at Wetland Products Foundation and was a Founding Partner at AF&F, specializing in algae cultures. With experience as a Managing Director at solarix, Peter was involved in biodiesel production and plant management. Additionally, Peter has worked as a Project Engineer at Greenmills and a Project Manager at Holland Jachtbouw BV. Peter holds a degree in Agrarische Milieukunde from Het Van Hall Instituut and has a background in civil engineering at Ecobrain.
