Head, Methods Advisory Function at Independent Evaluation Group

Estelle Raimondo, PhD, currently serves as the Head of the Methods Advisory Function at the Independent Evaluation Group, a role commenced in February 2024. Previously, Estelle held the position of Program Manager for Evaluation Methods and Data Science at the World Bank's Independent Evaluation Group from January 2020 to February 2024, providing methodological leadership and ensuring evaluation quality across a vast team. With over 13 years of expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) practices within international development, Estelle has held various roles, including Senior Evaluation Officer at Global Affairs Canada and the Independent Evaluation Group. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Public Policy and Evaluation Research from The George Washington University, complemented by master's degrees from Columbia University and Sciences Po, as well as an exchange program at Wellesley College.
