Kathryn Kochenower

Kathryn (Katie) Kochenower has a diverse range of work experience in the insurance industry. Kathryn (Katie) currently holds the position of Director of Education at the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Insurance Specialist at The Writer Agency, LLC starting in 2004. Katie also served as an Insurance Professor at various institutions, including the National Alliance for Insurance Education, Northeast Comm College, and Elite Sales Force Academy. Before that, they gained experience as an Insurance Agent and Owner at Gilbaugh Agency Inc and LLC from 1986 to 2004.

Kathryn (Katie) Kochenower has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Baker College Business and Corporate Services. Kathryn (Katie) also attended Holy Family High School in Denver, Colorado, and the University of Denver, where they studied Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities. Additionally, they hold certifications including Associate in Insurance Production AIP and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Certified Risk Manager (CRM).
