Mr. Holloway brings decades of experience in the human services field, including 15 years working for the Child Welfare Administration (CWA), where he served as Director of Centralized Services overseeing recruitment efforts in the Division of Adoption and Foster Care Services (DAFCS). He was later named Borough Director, Manhattan/Staten Island for Adoption and Foster Care Services.
Prior to working at CWA, Mr. Holloway served as an Associate Director at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Community Mental Health Center, where he oversaw day-to-day clinical operations, supervised social workers and organized community outreach and educational programs. Other leadership roles include serving as Director of Social Services at Hall-Brooke Hospital in Connecticut and as an Administrator at Arthur C. Logan Memorial Hospital in New York. He later started a private practice in psychotherapy.
After retiring from CWA in 1999, Mr. Holloway began a part-time position at the Bergen County Community Action Partnership, providing therapeutic services to individuals with substance abuse issues. He holds a B.S. from Florida A&M University and an MSW from NYU’s School of Social Work.
