Rita Derman

Rita Derman came to the United States from Russia in 1979 with her husband. During her distinguished career as a Systems Analyst, she held a 20-year position as a Senior Lead Design Specialist at Securities Industry Automation Corporation, where she was responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Equities Market Data Systems and other sophisticated information systems.

Ms. Derman received a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1971 from the prestigious Lviv Polytechnic National University in the Ukraine, and later augmented her training and education at Brooklyn College, where she completed courses in Data Structure, Algorithms Analysis and Computer Architecture.
