Barbara Papanikolaou

Barbara (Varvara) Papanikolaou is an experienced finance and procurement professional currently serving as a Finance & Procurement Associate at IPTO-Independent Power Transmission Operator since October 2022. Previously, Barbara worked at Nike for eight years in various roles, including Supply Chain Operations Specialist, Claims/Returns Specialist, and Credit Analyst, where responsibilities included managing strategic accounts, optimizing cash flow, and performing financial analyses. Prior experience also includes customer care and management roles at Vodafone and Athens Urban Transport Organization S.A., as well as an audit assistant position at the Hellenic Court of Audit. Barbara holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Bachelor's degree in International European and Economic Relations from the University of Piraeus.
