Olga Filippopoulou

Olga Filippopoulou currently serves as the Head of Design & Regulation of Energy Markets, Mechanisms & Interconnections Section at IPTO-Independent Power Transmission Operator, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Olga Filippopoulou was employed at the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Waste and Water from November 2015 to April 2024, where responsibilities included Electricity Policy Officer and Coordinator of RAEWW’s Task Force for the Target Model implementation. Earlier experience includes working as an Electrical Engineering Consultant at 4M S.A. from February 2011 to October 2015, providing engineering consulting and technical support for energy efficiency and electrical and mechanical studies. Olga Filippopoulou holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a Master of Science in Applied Economics and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business, and completed an online course on The Regulation of the Power Sector at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies.
