Roman Stefanidi has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Roman started their career in 2009 as the Director of Business Development at SAP Trade, where they were responsible for project planning and negotiating financing for a construction project. In 2010, they worked as a Software Consultant at Infusion Development and as a Consultant at Barclays Capital, where they developed a front office FX Risk Platform. Roman then joined Credit Suisse as a Consultant in 2011. In 2012, they became a Senior Associate/Developer at Westpac and later served as a Senior Developer at Nine Network Australia. In 2013, Roman co-founded Shinbone Networks and also worked as a Senior Developer at Nine Network Australia. Roman joined Challenger Limited in 2015 as a Tech Lead before transitioning to BriefBox in 2014, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer. Since 2014, they have also held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Independent Reserve – The Cryptocurrency Exchange, where they played a key role in transforming cryptocurrency technology into secure and regulated financial services.

Roman Stefanidi attended the University of Tasmania from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Software Engineering, obtaining a BComp. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the same university to study Law and earned an LLB.
