John L. Meckles

John L. Meckles serves as the Environmental Systems Manager at Independent Stave Company since June 2021, focusing on preparing the organization for ISO 14001 certification. Prior experience includes various roles at Panera Bread from April 2017 to June 2021, including Environmental Systems Manager, Manager-in-Training, and Team Lead. During a brief tenure at Independent Stave Company in summer 2020, John gained experience on the manufacturing line and contributed to quality control improvement research as a Summer Intern. Prior to these positions, John worked as Chef De Partie at Old Warson Country Club from May 2014 to April 2017. John holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and an Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts from Hickey College. Educational background also includes general education studies at Alton High School.
