Marcelo Vilches Robert

Marcelo Vilches Robert has extensive experience in the financial and oil & gas industries. Marcelo started their career as a Business Process Management Consultant at Sonangol Starfish Oil & Gas in 2000 before moving on to become a Branch Manager at Woodforest National Bank in 2016. Currently, Marcelo holds the position of Vice President, Financial Center Manager at Independent Financial starting in August 2021.

Marcelo Vilches Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Sound Technology from Universidad de Chile, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Quality Management from Universidad Católica del Norte, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana. Marcelo also completed a Master's degree in Risk Management at Universidad Nebrija, a Doctor's Degree in International Business at Universitat de Lleida, and a Master of Business Administration in Data Analytics at LSU Shreveport. Additionally, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Aveta Business Institute in 2012.
