Pamela Cates

Pamela Cates has over 20 years of experience in risk management and administrative roles within the banking industry. Currently serving as the Interim Construction Portfolio Risk Manager and Construction Risk Portfolio Manager at Independent Bank Group, Inc. since 2017, Pamela has previously held the position of Construction Risk Manager at Northstar Bank from 2005 to February 2017. Prior to that, experience includes a role as Executive Administrative Assistant and Disaster Recovery Coordinator at Northstar Bank, along with a position as Executive Administrative Assistant at PointBank from 2001 to 2005. Pamela holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Southern Nazarene University.
