Rachel Gao

Rachel Gao's work experience includes being a Scientist at InDevR, Inc. since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Molecular Toxicology PhD student at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2015 to 2021, where they conducted research on the immunological mechanisms of liver diseases. Rachel also worked as a Student Researcher at the University of Maryland in 2014, focusing on the ecology of insects and integrated pest management. Rachel was a Summer Research Intern at the National Human Genome Research Institute from 2010 to 2012, studying vertebrate embryonic development. Rachel also served as a Research Assistant at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism from 2008 to 2010, conducting research on the cardiotoxicity of antiretroviral therapy for AIDS patients.

Rachel Gao has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of Maryland, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Rachel then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Toxicology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2015 to 2021.
