Dr. Sophia Hergenhan

Dr. Sophia Hergenhan is an experienced professional in scientific communication and patent management. Currently serving as the Manager of Scientific Communication at Immatics since January 2024, Hergenhan previously held the position of Patent and License Manager at Max-Planck-Innovation GmbH from March 2022 to December 2023. Hergenhan's experience also includes roles as a Senior Account Executive and Account Executive at Trophic Communications from April 2020 to March 2022, and as a PhD candidate at LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München between April 2016 and December 2019. Earlier internships were completed at Proteros biostructures GmbH and Karolinska Institutet. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Immunology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
