Parameswaran Paraneetharan

Parameswaran Paraneetharan has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and customer service. Their most recent position is as an Information Technology Support Analyst at Index Exchange, which they started in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Sthira Global Cell for over 13 years as an IT Technician and Manager, where they were responsible for installing and maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting and repairing computer issues, and providing customer support. Before that, they worked as a Help Desk Technician at Agre Tele Card Limited, a Customer Service Assistant at Gold N Talks, a Cashier at Ceylinco Building Society, and a Production Assistant at Rupavahine State Television.

Parameswaran Paraneetharan has a diverse education history. Parameswaran started their educational journey in 1998 when they enrolled at the University of Colombo. Parameswaran pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance, completing their studies in 2002.

During their time at the University of Colombo, Parameswaran also attended the Professional Interactive Training Centre, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Hardware Engineering with Networking in 2002. This diploma focused on the field of Information Technology.

In 2000, Parameswaran joined the Institute of Information System Limited, where they earned a diploma in digital accounting through the ACCPAC program. This diploma enhanced their knowledge and skills in the field of Accounting and Finance.

Simultaneously, Parameswaran also pursued several computer programming certifications. Parameswaran attended Micom International College, where they obtained certification in the Visual Basic 6 programming language in 2002. Parameswaran also completed a certification course in Turbo Pascal 7.0 at Micom International College during the same year. Additionally, they attended the American Institute of Technology and obtained a certification in web designing in 2001.

In 2001, Parameswaran further expanded their computer language proficiency by learning the JAVA Language at Micom International College.

In 2005, Parameswaran pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance at Dublin Metropolitan University, further specializing in these fields.

Parameswaran's education journey reflects a strong focus on Accounting and Finance, along with a significant interest and competency in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
