Tammy Connelly

Tammy Connelly currently serves as Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Index Exchange since September 2023. Prior to this role, Tammy held multiple positions at Shopify from December 2017 to August 2023, including Director of HR Business Partners, Director of Talent Acquisition, and Senior Talent Acquisition Lead. Tammy's early career included a position as Manager of Co-op & Employer Partnerships at the University of Guelph (June 2013 - November 2015) and an Associate Partner at Odgers Berndtson (April 2006 - May 2013), where the focus was on executive recruitment for high-level positions. Additional experience includes roles at Centennial College as an Employment Advisor and at Christian & Timbers as Director of the Global Technology Practice. Tammy began the career at The Caldwell Partners as a Research Associate. Tammy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Waterloo (1991 - 1995).
