Mark Caravia has extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and operations management. Mark is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Business Development at Indi Engage since 2019. Prior to this, they held the same role at Indi. From 2008 to 2012, Mark worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Novac Exports S.A. de C.V., where they were responsible for global sales, marketing, and business development. During their tenure, they implemented a sales strategy that led to a significant increase in yearly sales and acquired 23 new clients globally. From 2006 to 2008, Mark served as the Director of Operations at CI Supreme Exports Ltd., overseeing purchasing, warehouse management, and waste reduction initiatives. Before that, they were the Director of Purchasing at Komfort Corp from 2004 to 2006, where they implemented processes and an ERP system to improve purchasing efficiencies. Mark started their career at Daimler Trucks North America in 1998 as a Buyer and later became a Senior Buyer, responsible for improving production efficiencies, managing inventory control, and assisting with new projects. In their previous role at Mentor Graphics from 2001 to 2004, they worked as the Purchasing Manager, implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and reducing costs.

Mark Caravia completed their high school education at Lake Oswego High School from 1992 to 1994, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on General Education. Following this, from 1994 to 1998, they attended Portland State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their time at Portland State University, Mark Caravia pursued dual fields of study. Mark focused on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management, as well as International Trade and Negotiations, leading to their degree in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). Additionally, they also pursued a field of study in Marketing, resulting in a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree.
