Salil Kappoor is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the consumer electronics and appliances sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Chief Mentor at Venture Access Labs since June 2025, Salil aims to enhance the competitiveness of Indian manufacturers in global markets. As an Advisor at a Private Equity firm and Chief Evangelist and Mentor for the India Cellular & Electronics Association, Salil leverages deep industry expertise to guide teams on sourcing, distribution, and market strategy. Previous roles include Co-Founder and Director at IoT Labs, Chief Executive Officer at Hindware Home Innovation Limited, Business Unit Head at Orient Electric, and Chief Operating Officer at Voltas Limited. Salil holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and an Engineering degree from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, University of Bangalore.
