Amit Tapan Mitra

Amit Tapan Mitra began their career in 1999 as a Business Development Manager at Schneider Electric, where they managed sales in the OEM segment and oversaw the motion control product portfolio. Amit Tapan then joined GE in 2004 as a Product Business Development Manager before moving to CUMMINS in 2006 as the Business Development Head. In 2007, Amit joined Reliance Infrastructure Limited as the General Manager, where they were responsible for managing commercial operations, reducing AT&C loss, overseeing operation and maintenance activities, and executing various projects. Amit's most recent role was at India Power Corporation Limited, where they worked as the Associate Vice President.

Amit Tapan Mitra holds a Master's Degree in Advanced Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, which they obtained in 2016. In the same year, they also earned a Master's Degree in Advanced Finance from The Wharton School. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they pursued an Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance, Leadership, Financial Markets, Corporate M&A, and Management from NBS Alumni Affairs, NTU. Amit's education history also includes a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, which they completed from 1993 to 1997. Lastly, they graduated from St Pauls School in 1989 with a High School degree.
