Mr. Pramod Singh, is presently heading the Regulatory & Commercial of the Company. With the post-qualification experience of more than 28 years of extensive experience in the power & infrastructure sector across the breadth of responsibilities in corporate strategy, business development, policy & regulatory affairs, power sales and techno-commercial management.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from NIT Rourkela and a Full-time Post Graduate Program in Management from IMI, Delhi
In the past, he has worked in two of the largest private sector power companies in India (i.e. Tata Power & BSES (now Reliance Infrastructure)) and has been extensively involved with the Power sector reforms and Private sector participation covering various segments of the sector including Power Generation and Distribution. He was associated with various opportunities for the development of new generation projects and working in power distribution businesses. He was associated with the privatization scheme of Delhi Distribution (DVB) right from its inception including the bidding and transactional management in his earlier assignment with BSES.

It operates a portfolio of renewable and conventional modes of power generation, transmission, distribution and power trading. It holds a distribution license across an area of over 620 square kilometers in the Asansol-Raniganj coal belt of West Bengal, as well as another distribution franchisee in Gaya, Bodh Gaya and Manpur covering over 1, 630 square kilometers. It also operates approximately 95.2 megawatts of wind assets in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Karnataka, a 12-megawatt coal fired thermal power station at Dishergarh in Asansol, West Bengal. It has also developed a two-megawatt grid connected solar power plant along with West Bengal Green Energy Development Corporation Limited in Asansol. The Company's subsidiaries include India Power Corporation (Bodhgaya) Limited (IPCBL) and IPCL Pte Limited.
