Varun Gupta

Varun Gupta currently serves as President and Chief Distribution Officer at IndiaFirst Life, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Varun Gupta spent over a decade at Max Life Insurance Company Limited in various leadership positions, notably as Director & Head of Bancassurance and Group Credit Life business, where responsibilities included P&L management for a significant portion of the company’s revenue and workforce. Additional roles at Max Life included CVP and Head of Agency Strategy and Zone Vice President - Agency, focusing on agency strategy, sales management, and distribution. Early career experience includes key account management at Xerox Ltd and a management trainee position at Pertech Computers. Varun Gupta holds an M.B.A in Marketing from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and a B.E in Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
