A Partner with INDIALAW, Durgesh currently heads the Firm’s Criminal Litigations practice. An integral part of the firm since 2004, Durgesh has been actively involved in court room trials and high profile litigations bearing social importance that caught attention of leading print media like Times of India, Mid-Day, among others.
Handling matters right from inception to logical conclusion of litigation, which includes drafting, filing, pleading, recording of evidence, cross examination, and arguments; he appears before tribunals and quasi-judicial authorities. He specializes in the handling of matters related to Special Enactments such as: Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881, PCMC Act, MPID Act, as well as White collar crimes, Real estate, Recovery proceedings before Debt Recovery Tribunal/Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal under SARFAESI Act, 2002, MOFA, etc.
Durgesh conducts arbitration proceedings and mediations for some of the reputed business houses in India and takes the lead to bring high turnaround rate. With more than a decade long association with the Firm, he has been instrumental in the identification of associate lawyers across the country that today constitutes the nationwide legal network of the Firm. His passion for his practise has helped clients through tough situations, bringing them a favourable resolution.
