T.C. Chappelear

T.C. Chappelear has been working in education for over fifteen years. T.C. started their career as a middle school principal in Barnesville, Ohio. After one year in this position, they became a School Improvement Coordinator for the Region 12 State Support Team in Ohio. In this role, they worked with schools to improve student achievement. After three years in this position, they became an Educational Data Specialist for the Ohio Valley Educational Service Center. In this role, they helped schools to use data to improve instruction. After one year in this position, they became the Assistant Superintendent for the Indian Creek Local School District. In this role, they oversaw curriculum and instruction for the district. T.C. has been in their current position as Superintendent of the Indian Creek Local School District since July 2014.

T.C. Chappelear has a Doctor of Education from West Virginia University in Public School Administration, a Master of Science from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Educational Administration and Supervision, and a Bachelor of Arts from West Liberty State University in Secondary Education and Teaching.
