Jenifer Hamma has a diverse work experience. Jenifer started their career at AT&T in 2004 as a Service Representative. Their responsibilities included mediating client services, generating revenue, resolving billing issues, and managing customer calls. Jenifer worked at AT&T until 2010. In 2011, they joined the Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa as a CHIPRA Project Coordinator, where they coordinated outreach and enrollment activities. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Referral Specialist, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and improving patient care. From 2016 to 2020, they held the role of an Office Manager. Jenifer recently became the Director of Patient Business Services in December 2020.
Jenifer Hamma earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from Northeastern State University from 2001 to 2003. Jenifer also completed an Associates Degree in Business Management from Tulsa Community College from 2000 to 2001. Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa (IHCRC) is a 501(c)(3) organization providing quality, comprehensive health care to Native Americans. IHCRC is funded through a contract with Indian Health Services, third party reimbursement, state and federal grants, private foundations and donors, and its annual fundraiser The Dance of the Two Moons. Utilizing a patient-centered, multidisciplinary, medical home approach, IHCRC offers a full range of health and wellness services tailored to the Indian community. Services include: Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Optometry, Dental, Pharmacy, Transportation, Behavioral Health, Health Education and Wellness, Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention, and Youth Programs focused on traditions, health, and leadership skills. With more than 18,000 active patients representing in excess of 150 Tribes, IHCRC provides more than 126,000 patient encounters each year to improve the general health status and reduce the incidence and severity of chronic disease of the urban Indian community.
