Neric Smith

Neric Smith has a diverse work experience in the agriculture, landscape, and turfgrass fields. Neric started their career as an Assistant Superintendent at Veenker Memorial Golf Course in 2000. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a County Extension Director at Iowa State University Extension. Neric then became a Horticulture Specialist at Iowa State University Extension from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Indian Hills Community College as an Instructor of Landscape and Turfgrass. Neric later became the Program Director/Associate Professor in Agriculture and Construction Technology in 2018, and in 2021, they became the Program Director/Professor of Agriculture at the same institution.
