Jitender Singh has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Jitender started their career at Howard Johnson Bengaluru Hebbal in 2013 as a Trainee Sales Executive and worked their way up to Assistant Manager Sales. In 2015, they joined Taj Hotels as an Assistant Sales Manager at Taj Bangalore and later became a Sales Manager. Jitender then moved to the Global Sales office in New Delhi and Gurgaon, where they held the position of Sales Manager. Jitender continued to climb the corporate ladder at Taj Hotels, taking on roles such as Associate Director of Sales and Director of Sales before becoming a Cluster Director of Sales for Vivanta Bhubaneswar & The Crown Bhubaneswar.

Jitender Singh completed a Bsc in Hospitality and Administration from IHM between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for their senior secondary education from 2007 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained "Driving Innovation Through Design Thinking" from KNOLSKAPE in 2023, "Career & Succession Planning Program" from The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) in 2022, and various digital marketing and hotel management certifications from Udemy in 2022. Jitender also obtained a certification in "Mutual Respect" from CrossKnowledge in 2017.
