Abhra Roy Chowdhury

Abhra Roy Chowdhury currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Robotics & Automation in the Department of Product Design and Manufacturing at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore since September 2019. Abhra is a Senior Member of IEEE and previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Robotics & Autonomous Systems at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) from January 2016 to October 2019. Additionally, Abhra held the position of Teaching Fellow at the National University of Singapore for the year 2015. Abhra earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Robotics and Control Engineering from the National University of Singapore (2011-2015) and a Master of Technology (MTech) in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems) from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi (2008-2010).
