Anurag Kumar

Anurag Kumar is an esteemed Indian National Science Academy Distinguished Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), where active research focuses on wireless networks and cyber-physical systems. Following a six-year tenure as Director of IISc, Anurag Kumar returned to the ECE Department to continue academic pursuits, consultancy, and participation in national committees. With significant industry experience as a Member Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, Anurag Kumar has funded research from major government agencies and has held leadership roles within the ECE Department and the Division of Electrical Sciences. Anurag Kumar earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
