Mahavir Singh

Mahavir Singh is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the fields of RNA-protein biochemistry and structural biology. Since May 2014, Mahavir Singh has served as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, focusing on non-coding RNA and protein interactions. Prior to this role, Mahavir Singh held positions as an Assistant Professor at UCLA and Associate Research Scientist, where significant research on RNA-protein biochemistry and structural biology was conducted. Mahavir Singh's academic journey includes a PhD in Biochemistry with a focus on the structural biology of proteins from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Delhi University and Deshbandhu College, respectively. Early education includes secondary and primary schooling in New Delhi and Uttarakhand.
