Rachit Agarwal

Rachit Agarwal is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) since June 2017, previously serving as an Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2013 to May 2017, focusing on bone implants, lung infections, and osteoarthritis, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin between August 2009 and July 2013, where the primary research involved development of shape and size-specific enzyme responsive nanoparticles for cancer treatment. Rachit Agarwal holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Additional experience includes teaching roles and a summer internship at Invitrogen, focusing on cell engineering and gene expression profiling.
