Shashank Tripathi is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) since January 2019, with prior experience as a Research Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from October 2012 to January 2019, focusing on broad-spectrum antiviral host responses against various viruses including Influenza and Dengue. Previously, Shashank worked as a Research Associate in the Virology Group at ICGEB, New Delhi, and completed a PhD in Virology at ICGEB New Delhi following a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of North Bengal. Additional experience includes a role as a Visiting Researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2009. Shashank holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Ewing Christian College.
