Sudip Bhattacharya

Sudip Bhattacharya is a Doctoral Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, since September 2020, focusing on the development of efficient surrogates for Earth System Models through Generative AI and Physics Informed Machine Learning. Additionally, Sudip has been a Faculty Member in Computer Science Engineering and Computer Applications at Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg, since July 2005, teaching various subjects including C/C++/Java, Data Structures, Algorithms, and AI. Sudip also served as a Teaching Assistant for the NPTEL course on Machine Learning for Earth System Science from April to September 2022. Sudip holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, expected in July 2026, an M.Tech in Computer Engineering from Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, and an M.Sc in Computer Science from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University. An internship in Programming for HPC was completed at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, in June 2016.
