Guru Prasad Samantaray

Guru Prasad Samantaray is an experienced supply chain management professional with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Sr. Manager Supply Chain Management at Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd since February 2024, Guru previously held key positions at Sandvik, including Manager Indirect Purchase and Site Sourcing Head, where responsibilities encompassed procurement operations and indirect purchasing for mining equipment across various sites in India. Earlier roles included Assistant Manager and Senior Engineer in the purchasing department, as well as positions in maintenance engineering at Jindal Saw Limited, Indian Steel, and Bhushan Steel and Strips Limited. Academically, Guru holds an Executive MBA in Operation and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and additional degrees in MBA and Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and Utkal University, respectively.
