Raghuram Iyer

Raghuram Iyer is a seasoned executive in the sports and entertainment industries, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Olympic Association since January 2024. Previously, Iyer held the CEO position at RPSG Sports from January 2016 to October 2022, overseeing prominent teams such as the Lucknow Super Giants, Rising Pune Supergiant, ATK Mohun Bagan, and RPSG Mavericks. Earlier roles include CEO of the Rajasthan Royals from July 2007 to December 2015 and Advertising Sales Director at Discovery Channel from April 2002 to June 2007. Iyer's experience also encompasses significant positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Reuters, contributing to a robust career initiated in telecom with Hutchison Max Telecom. Iyer holds an MMS in Marketing Management from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a BA Honours in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce. Awards include recognition from Indian Sports Honours and Indian Cricket Heroes.
