Gobi Sankar

Gobi Sankar has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. GOBI started their career in 2013 as a Site Engineer at RKM Powergen Pvt Ltd, where they supervised quality activities in the shop floor and was responsible for fabrication and inspection of various structures.

In 2016, they joined Al Jalhami Contracting & Trading Company as a Welding Inspector, where they handled projects related to water desalination plants, steam generators, and gas plants.

In 2018, Gobi Sankar worked as a Mechanical Engineer QA/QC at Lloyd Steels Industries Ltd, where they were involved in projects for Indian Oil Corporation Limited. GOBI worked on the fabrication and erection of LPG storage vessels and cone roof fire water storage tanks.

Currently, Gobi Sankar is working at the Indian Register of Shipping as an Inspection Engineer. GOBI'sresponsibilities include quality assurance for various projects, such as SS lining, SS piping, vessels, and valves. GOBI reviews procedures, certifies qualifications, and ensures adherence to quality standards.

Gobi Sankar completed their education in a chronological manner. GOBI attended BHARAT VIDYA MANDIR MATRIC SCHOOL from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a SSLC degree with a focus on GENERAL subjects. GOBI then attended SBOA MATRIC HR SEC SCHOOL from 2007 to 2009, where they completed their High School education and studied MATHS and COMPUTER SCIENCE. After that, Gobi Sankar joined Anna University from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Gobi Sankar obtained certifications in the field of welding inspection and non-destructive testing. In July 2015, they completed the CSWIP 3.1 (WELDING INSPECTOR) certification from TWI, UK. In July 2013, they obtained the ASNT NDT LEVEL II (RT, UT, PT, MPT) certification from BIS CERTIFICATE.
