Phillip Morris

Phillip Morris has extensive experience in mental health and probation services, currently serving as a Probate Court Liaison and therapist within the Diversion Team at Indian Rivers Mental Health Center since November 2004. In this role, established in Fall 2013, Phillip works collaboratively with case managers and a nurse to prevent individuals from needing hospital or jail commitments. Prior to this, Phillip was a US Probation Officer and later a Mental Health Specialist with the Northern District of Alabama from May 1978 to April 2004, addressing the needs of individuals charged with federal offenses across multiple counties. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor's Degree in History and Biology, complemented by training from the US Army Command and General Staff College.
