Chandan Chowdhury

Chandan Chowdhury is the Practice Professor of Operations Management & Information Systems at the Indian School of Business. Chandan has also served as the Vice President (Global Affairs and Business Development) at Dassault Systèmes from August 2016 to June 2017. In this role, they were responsible for studying the challenges of our economy and the aspirations of the government and preparing a road map for accelerating the growth of the nation through digital transformation.

Chandan Chowdhury received a Candidate of Sciences (Ph.D) in Reliability Centered Maintenance from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Chandan then went on to receive their Ph.D from the Technical University of Budapest. Lastly, they received their MS in Mechanical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

Chandan Chowdhury reports to Harish Manwani, Chairman of the Board. Chandan Chowdhury works with Ramabhadran Thirumalai - Associate Professor of Finance (Practice), Sanjay Kallapur - Professor of Accounting, Deputy Dean Planning & Regulation FPM/ EFPM & Academic Director IEMS, and Milind Sohoni - Area Leader and Professor of Operations Management, Deputy Dean Hyderabad Campus & Deputy Dean Academic Affairs.
