Christine Ching

Christine Ching has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Christine currently holds the position of Senior Director of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances at PacBio, a role they took on in March 2022 after serving as the Director, Head of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances since April 2021. Prior to PacBio, Christine worked at Illumina from 2010 to 2021, holding various roles including Associate Director, Product Management, Senior Manager and Manager, Product Management, and Staff and Senior Product Manager. Before joining Illumina, they were the Creative Director and Owner of Chris Ching Jewelry, where they successfully launched a privately owned concierge jewelry service and curated, designed, and marketed over 1500 unique pieces. Christine also gained experience in business development at Receptos, Inc., and Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, and completed an MBA at UCSD Rady School of Management. Christine started their career as a Research Associate at Chiron Corporation.

Christine Ching earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from UCLA in the years 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued an MBA at the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management from 2008 to 2010.
