Indiana CTSI
Bridget Hawryluk is an experienced Human-Centered Design Researcher at Indiana CTSI, a position held since October 2017. Prior to this role, Bridget founded Sift Design Solutions, a firm focused on problem solving through empathy and people-powered discovery, and served as a Patient Experience Researcher at Indiana University Health, where qualitative research focused on optimizing patient room design. Earlier experience includes working as an Adjudicator for the State of Indiana's Disability Determination Bureau, assessing applicant eligibility. Bridget holds a Master’s degree in Design Thinking and Design Leadership from Indiana University’s Herron School of Art and Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Ball State University.
Indiana CTSI
The Indiana CTSI brings together the state’s brightest minds to solve Indiana’s most pressing health challenges through research. It is a statewide research partnership among Indiana University, Purdue University, the University of Notre Dame and numerous life sciences businesses, government entities and community organizations. The Indiana CTSI engages with the public at every level of research, from basic science to patient care. The institute has been continuously funded by multimillion dollar grants from the National Institutes of Health since 2008 and is housed at the IU School of Medicine.
