Isabel Zhang

Isabel (Wenjuan) Zhang is a Staff Research Scientist at Dataminr since January 2019, previously holding roles including Senior Research Scientist in Human-AI Innovation and Research Scientist focused on HCI/UX. Isabel's work involves leading HCI research to enhance internal tools and exploring user motivation and satisfaction. Prior to Dataminr, Isabel served as a User Experience Researcher at Google via Zenith Talent, focusing on foundational and evaluative research for Android Auto. Isabel's academic background includes a PhD in Human Systems Engineering and a Master's in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Human Factors and Ergonomics from North Carolina State University, where Isabel also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant, leading human factors studies and data analysis. Isabel holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics from both Beihang University and École Centrale de Pékin.
