Brian Poole has a diverse work experience in the insurance and actuarial field. Brian began their career in 1988 with American States Insurance Co as an Actuary and remained with the company for 10 years. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as an Actuary at Arthur Andersen & Co. In 2001, they joined OneBeacon Insurance Group as the SVP - Chief Actuary, a position they held until December 2015. Brian then moved to Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance in 2017, where they initially served as the Actuarial Data Manager. In January 2021, they were promoted to the role of Director & Chief Actuary.
Brian Poole completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Wabash College, where they studied from 1984 to 1988.
