Ann Robertson

Ann graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and completed a certificate in Vocational Instruction for the Disabled from Georgia Southern College through the Masters of Science in Education program.

Ann began her career in the field of disability in 1978, as a Secondary Special Education Teacher/Related Vocational Instructor for Special Needs Students. She provided teaching and coordination to high school aged students. She became certified in vocational instruction and transition services for high school students with special needs, and worked with local agencies including CETA, ARC and VR to ensure post high school employment services.

Ann continued her career as a Program Coordinator/QMRP, providing assessment, habilitation plan development, training and monitoring to individuals within an ICF-MR group home setting. She was a key coordinator for the growth and expansion of community services.

In 1992, Ann became a founder and owner of ICM Consultant Service, Inc., providing independent case management services for disabled individuals within the Northwest Indiana area. ICM Consultant Services served as a waiver expert for a variety of community stakeholders.

In 2006, Ann became one of the founders of Indiana Professional Management Group (IPMG), serving as the Northwest Director and as a Senior Advisor, supporting the expansion of case management services for the Indiana’s Home- and Community-Based Services waiver program. Ann provided mentoring and advising support in the areas of leadership development, special projects, accreditation, strategic planning, operations, political and legal functions within the organization.

Since 2006, Ann has been a member of IPMG’s Board of Directors, serving as Secretary and Past President.

Ann served on INARF Board of Directors, DDARS Advisory Committee, and the CM Innovation Work Group before her retirement from IPMG in January 2018. She looks forward to her new career as a professional grandmother to twin baby girls. Ann plans to continue her advocacy work within the disability field.

Indiana Professional Management Group (IPMG) is Indiana's preeminent statewide provider of case management and care management services for participants in the state's Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver program, and wraparound facilitation services for participants in the Child Mental Health Wraparound program and Children's Mental Health Initiative (CMHI).
