Kathleen G. Cabello

Kathy Cabello has served on the Indiana State University Board of Trustees since 2014. President and co-founder of Cabello Associates, Inc., she previously worked as a computer systems developer for Fortune 500 companies. She earned her bachelor of science degree from Eastern Michigan University, a master of business administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and is a graduate of the Minority Business Executive Program at Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. Trustee Cabello is currently vice chair of the Board of Trustees and has previously served as secretary and assistant secretary. She serves on Fifth Third Bank, Greater Indiana Board and is a past president of the Indianapolis chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs. An alumna of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series, Trustee Cabello devotes much of her time to mentoring Hispanic youth and leading pre-college programs such as Project Stepping Stone of Indiana. She has earned several awards, including 2010 Indiana Fortune's Most Powerful Women nominee, the 2010 Indianapolis Business Journal Women of Influence for Indiana, and the 2012 Mayor's Latino Woman-Owned Business of the Year.
