Lead Exercise Physiologist at Indiana University Health

Danielle Halsey, MS, EP-C has a comprehensive work experience in the field of exercise physiology and clinical research. Danielle is currently serving as the Lead Exercise Physiologist at both the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and Indiana University Health. Previously, they worked as a Clinical Research Specialist and Research Technician at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Danielle has also held positions as a Strength Coach at Pursuit Nutrition & Training Center, Exercise Physiologist at Banner Health, and Patient Care Technician at Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital. Additionally, they gained experience as a Sports Performance Intern at EXOS and a Sales Associate at Under Armour. Danielle has also interned as a Cancer Exercise Specialist at the University of Northern Colorado Clinical Cancer Institute.

Danielle Halsey, MS, EP-C has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sports and Exercise from the same institution, from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their educational background, Danielle Halsey has obtained certifications as a Certified Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine in December 2017, and in Basic Life Support/AED from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association in October 2015.
