Kathleen Hill Gallant

Kathleen Hill Gallant is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in nutrition and medicine. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota since June 2020, and as an Adjunct Research Associate Professor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine since April 2017, Kathleen has also held roles at Purdue University, including Assistant Professor and Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics from August 2013 to June 2020. Prior to these positions, Kathleen worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Indiana University School of Medicine and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Purdue University. Kathleen's research primarily focuses on bone and mineral metabolism, complemented by earlier experiences as a Clinical Dietitian and various research assistant roles. Educational credentials include a PhD in Nutrition from Purdue University and master's and bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology and Dietetics, respectively, from the University of North Dakota.
