Farah Yousry

Farah Yousry is an experienced journalist and media professional, currently serving as Managing Editor for Health and Health Equity Reporter at WFYI Public Media, and as a journalist at the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper since February 2021. Previously, Yousry worked as a Broadcast Journalist for the BBC from February 2016 to March 2021, where production of multimedia content for various platforms was a key responsibility. Yousry's background includes roles such as Political Officer at the British Embassy Cairo, Editor in Chief at Egypt Independent, and Managing Editor for Assyasy Magazine, showcasing strong editorial and leadership skills. Additional experiences include working with Reuters News Agency, Caravan, and Al Ghad Al Arabi channel, along with formal education in Journalism and Mass Communication from The American University in Cairo and a Mandarin Chinese course at Yunnan Normal University.
