Joan Newberg-Watts

Joan Newberg-Watts is a registered nurse with extensive experience in various nursing roles, including critical care, emergency room, and professional development. Currently serving as an Employee Health/Professional Development RN at Indianapolis Rehabilitation Hospital since August 2023, Joan previously held positions at Compassus as an Admission RN and at St. Vincent Health as an ER nurse. With a strong background in critical care nursing, Joan has worked in facilities such as Community Howard Regional Health, IU Health Saxony, Riverview Health, and St. Vincent Heart Center, where responsibilities included stroke coordination and nursing supervisory roles. Joan began a nursing career at St. Vincent Hospital in 1989 after earning a BSN from Clarkson College.
