Indianapolis Zoo
Caitlyn Foye is an experienced educator and manager specializing in volunteer services and animal conservation. Currently serving as the Manager of Volunteer Services at the Indianapolis Zoo since January 2024, Caitlyn develops and manages various volunteer programs, including those for adult animal care, Wild Ambassadors, and zoo teens. Previously, Caitlyn held the position of Indianapolis Prize Specialist, where coordination of the prestigious Indianapolis Prize for animal conservation occurred. Caitlyn's background in education includes serving as a Biomedical Sciences Teacher at Noblesville Schools from July 2020 to February 2024, teaching multiple biomedical courses and mentoring students in research. Prior teaching experience includes a role as a Science Teacher at Herron-Riverside High School, where Caitlyn was instrumental in developing the chemistry and biology curriculum. Caitlyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Butler University and a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Marian University Indianapolis.
