Jason Williams

Jason Williams is an expert in animal nutrition with extensive experience in zoo environments. Currently serving as the Director of Nutrition Services at the Indianapolis Zoo since February 2006, Williams is responsible for formulating and reviewing species-specific diets for the zoo's diverse animal collection and collaborates with the veterinary services department on nutrition-related health issues. Prior to this role, Williams was the Nutrition Manager at Lincoln Park Zoo from October 2002 to January 2006, where responsibilities included managing the Nutrition Center and Commissary to meet the dietary needs of over 2,000 animals. Williams holds a Doctorate in Animal Science/Nutrition and a Master's degree in Animal Nutrition, both from Texas A&M University.
